Microsoft plans to expand ChatGPT integration to more development tools

Microsoft Corp. on Monday bundled the technology behind ChatGPT with its Power Platform, allowing users to develop apps with little or no coding, the latest integration of artificial intelligence into its products.

Microsoft said that a range of business intelligence and application development tools in the Power Platform, including Power Virtual Agent and AI Builder, have been updated with new capabilities.

Power Virtual Agent, a tool for businesses to build chatbots, can now connect to internal company resources to generate weekly reports and summaries of customer inquiries.

Microsoft has also added generative AI capabilities to AI Builder, which allows enterprises to automate workflows, and business management platform Dynamics 365.

These features will only be available in the United States. The software giant is adding OpenAI’s ChatGPT to its Bing search and Edge browser.
