Windows 11 Service Build 22616.100 (KB5014650) released for Dev and Beta Insiders
Microsoft has today released a servicing update to Dev and Beta channel insiders containing new Windows 11 build 22616.100 (KB5014650). The new version does not bring anything new as it is a cumulative update and the company is testing its service pipeline as it is generally known. Microsoft Now, we've been releasing frequent service updates as new and upcoming features emerge in Dev Channel releases.
The full announcement says:
We are starting to roll out cumulative update build 22616.100 (KB5014650). This update does not contain anything new and is intended to test the service pipeline we have built in the development and test channels.
Therefore, all bug fixes and improvements announced in the earlier release, version 22616, will be carried over to the Development Channel and Beta Channel. This release comes with a ton of new features as we are now entering the next phase of Windows 11 in preparation for version 22H2.

While no new changes have been made in this build, testing builds like the previous one have been known to break some functionality. For example, Windows 10 Build 21292.1010 caused issues with x64 emulation on ARM PCs.
Microsoft once again reminds that there is a limited window for Insiders to switch or change channels from Dev to Beta. That window may be closing as Windows 11 22H2 will soon move to the Release Preview channel. If you're wondering how, here's a handy tutorial we made that you can use.
