Windows 11 build 25324 (Canary) has an evolved widget board

Microsoft today released a new version of Windows 11 Canary Channel Insiders. Build 25324 brings SHA-3, new Defender warning UI, and new USB4 settings page.

The company says it also improves File Explorer performance. And, as always, there are more bug fixes and other improvements.

The tech giant is now previewing a revamp of the widget board, with a larger canvas and dedicated sections for widgets and feed content with a clear separation between them.

You can use the 3-column widget panel if your device supports it. Not all Insiders will get this feature from the start.

• Updated several simplified Chinese fonts and Microsoft Pinyin input method to support GB18030-2022. With this update, you can enter and display characters in consistency level 1 or 2 with the addition of Microsoft Yahei, Simsun, and Denxian. Unicode extensions E and F are now supported in our Simsun Ext-B fonts to meet Level 3 requirements.

[Settings]

• As part of the deprecation of the Microsoft Support Diagnostic Tool (MSDT) and MSDT Troubleshooter, we have started to move the System >> Troubleshooter Settings and other areas of the operating system are redirected to the new Get Help troubleshooting platform.
