The state-of-the-art Xbox Dream Space can accommodate up to 20 students at a time.

In a renewed effort to improve the lives of young people and give hope to less fortunate children, Xbox is partnering with the Los Angeles Lakers and philanthropist and NBA All-Star Dwight Howard project. The joint effort focuses on the construction of the new Xbox Dream Space, which remodels part of the Boys & Girls Club in the San Fernando Valley.

According to Chris Munson, senior manager of global Xbox sports partnerships, the new Dream Space "will allow kids to experience the joy of gaming as they explore their passions." This is achieved by combining the old multi-functional room transformed into a state-of-the-art gaming lab that can accommodate up to 20 students at a time.

"At Xbox, we know the joy of games can inspire dreams, which is why we love partnering with organizations that continue to inspire fans to reach stars through the power of games," Munson wrote in a post for Xbox Wire .

The room features an incredible design incorporating the legendary logo and colors of the Los Angeles Lakers. Beyond the art, however, the room is also filled with gold Xbox Series S consoles, gaming PCs, screens, stylish gaming furniture, and more.

Additionally, Dwight Howard, a long-time supporter of Boys & Girls Clubs across the country, hosted a private meet-and-greet with an added bonus. Additionally, Dwight Howard spends time competing and teaming up with kids on the court and in their favorite Xbox Game Pass games.

The Xbox Dream Space at Boys & Girls Clubs of San Fernando Valley is expected to reach 2,500 youth in 15 communities in the Los Angeles area. It's one of the successful programs Microsoft and Boys & Girls Clubs of America have built since they partnered 20 years ago. It is estimated that more than $150 million in software, cloud services, Xbox consoles, COVID relief and cash grants have been used to help children and teens access technology and computer science resources.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the San Fernando Valley, on the other hand, welcomes anyone who would like to be a part of its dream to inspire, inspire and unite youth. Friends who want to consult can visit https://www.bgcsfv.org/.
