• Double-click to modify the value of DisallowRun. Set the value data field to 0.

• Restart the system.
• Perform steps 1 - 4 above .
• Check the value of DisallowRun. If it is 1, follow steps 5 and 6 above to delete the entry.

8. Now try to install Office again to check if the error is resolved.

Fix 2 – Repair Office Installation

1. Use the Windows + R key combination to open the Run dialog box.
