Windows 11 Store has new icon animations

What is one of the most famous places where people go to find their favorite software? If you guessed Microsoft Store, you are 100% correct.

However, lately people haven't been that happy with how it works, as some bugs have mostly been fixed, and some popular apps are missing.

On the other hand, Microsoft is clearly doing its best to provide a more stable and useful experience for everyone involved.

New animated icons for Microsoft Store

Recently, the Redmond tech company added another small but effective touch to the Microsoft Store for Windows 11.

It animates, sort of like the icons on the left side of the store window, so they react when you click on them. It's not a big change, but it gives it more of a Windows 11 vibe.

This was discovered by Windows Insiders who are currently testing the new operating system version 22202.1402.0.0 on the development channel.

Respondents to the Reddit post were happy with the new features, but unhappy with the fact that Microsoft ignored obvious areas where the software actually needs serious work.

The new store is very cool but if they want to be a quality store they should or actually have to remove all useless and fake apps from it. I'd rather have 500,000 really good apps than 25,000,000 crap.

Another complaint users have about the Windows 11 Store is that it’s still slow and unable to compete with older versions.

Spanish users were also unhappy with some of the choices the tech giant made for the app, particularly the name of one of its categories.

While this may not seem like a big deal to the naked eye, considering it's an official Microsoft product, some people actually feel that the translation isn't accurate at all and could use some work.

However, all is not lost as we are pretty sure Microsoft will take the necessary steps to improve this experience as well.

These changes will be rolled out to the public soon once insiders deem them bug-free and ready for global use.

They will most likely come to our PC via Windows Update, so look for them after downloading and installing them on a fresh PC.
