Step 1: Create an image

1.1 Create an ubuntu image

Log in to Baidu Cloud Console, enter the bcc page, and click "Mirror" on the left menu bar.

Click "Create Image", select the "ubuntu" operating system, and select the version that suits you. In the "Network" column, select "Public Network."

After filling in the information, click "Create Image".

1.2 Install php

Enter the container through the cloud terminal. You can use the following command to install php:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install php

Step 2: Create the container

After the image creation is completed Finally, we need to create a container based on this image. A container is an independent running environment that is independent of other containers and hosts.

2.1 Create Container

Click the "Container" tab, and then click the "Create Container" button. In the pop-up dialog box, fill in the following information:

  • Container name: Fill in any
  • Image source: Select the image created in the previous step
  • Tab "Network ”: Select “Public Network”
  • Others: Keep the default settings

2.2 Start the container

After the container is created, enter the container operation page. On the container operation page, click the "Start" button and wait for the container to start.

Step 3: Verify whether php has been installed

3.1 Access the container

After the container is started, you can log in to the container terminal through the "Access Container" button.

3.2 Verify php

Enter the following command in the terminal:

php -v

If the php version information appears, it means that php has been successfully installed.

At this point, you have successfully set up a php environment on Baidu Cloud bcc.
