Optical module

1.25g optical module is a Gigabit module; 1.25G optical module is also called GE (Gigabit) optical module. The optical module is also an integrated optical transceiver module, and its English name is Optical Module; optical modules are usually emitted by light It is composed of devices, optical receiving devices, functional circuits and optical interfaces.

Is the 1.25g optical module a Gigabit module?

yes. 1.25G optical module is also called GE (Gigabit) optical module.

Optical module: It is also an integrated optical transceiver module, and its English name is Optical Module.

Optical modules are usually composed of optical transmitting devices (TOSA, including lasers), optical receiving devices (ROSA, including light detectors), functional circuits and optical (electrical) interfaces.

The transmitting part is: input an electrical signal with a certain code rate and process it through the internal driver chip to drive a semiconductor laser (LD) or light-emitting diode (LED) to emit a modulated optical signal at a corresponding rate, which contains light inside. The power automatic control circuit keeps the output optical signal power stable.

The receiving part is: the optical signal with a certain code rate is input into the module and then converted into an electrical signal by the light detection diode. After passing through the preamplifier, an electrical signal with a corresponding code rate is output, and the output signal is generally a PECL level. At the same time, an alarm signal will be output when the input optical power is less than a certain value.

Parameters and significance of optical modules

Optical modules have many important photoelectric technical parameters, but for the two hot-swappable optical modules, GBIC and SFP As far as modules are concerned, the most important parameters to pay attention to when selecting are the following three parameters:

1) Center wavelength

in nanometers (nm), currently there are three main types:

850nm (MM, multi-mode, low cost but short transmission distance, generally only able to transmit 500M); 1310nm (SM, single mode, large loss during transmission but small dispersion, generally used for transmission within 40KM);

1550nm (SM, single mode, with small loss but large dispersion during transmission, generally used for long-distance transmission above 40KM, and can transmit directly up to 120KM without relay);

2) Transmission rate

The number of bits (bits) of data transmitted per second, unit bps.

There are currently 4 commonly used types: 155Mbps, 1.25Gbps, 2.5Gbps, 10Gbps, 25Gbps, 40Gbps, 100Gbps, etc. The transmission rate is generally backward compatible, so the 155M optical module is also called FE (100M) optical module, and the 1.25G optical module is also called GE (Gigabit) optical module. These are the most commonly used modules in optical transmission equipment. In addition, its transmission rates in fiber optic storage systems (SAN) are 2Gbps, 4Gbps and 8Gbps.

3) Transmission distance

The distance that optical signals can be directly transmitted without relay amplification, in kilometers (also called kilometers, km). Optical modules generally have the following specifications: multi-mode 550m, single-mode 15km, 40km, 80km and 120km, etc.

mPDF

mPDF is a PHP library that can generate PDF files from UTF-8 encoded HTML. The original author, Ian Back, wrote mPDF to output PDF files "on the fly" from his website and handle different languages. It is slower than original scripts like HTML2FPDF and produces larger files when using Unicode fonts, but supports CSS styles etc. and has a lot of enhancements. Supports almost all languages, including RTL (Arabic and Hebrew) and CJK (Chinese, Japanese and Korean). Supports nested block-level elements (such as P, DIV),
