How to add editing restriction protection to the page where the table is located: 1. Click File, Information, and Protect Document; 2. 1. Simple steps
File → Information → Protect document → Restrict editing → Check "Restrict formatting to selected styles" → Check "Allow only Make this type of edit in the document" → click "Yes, enable enforcement protection".
2. Detailed steps
1. Select "File → Information" and open the window
2. Click "Protect Document" and select "Restrict Editing", such as Figure
3. The "Restrict Editing" small window will be displayed on the right side of the Word workspace, as shown in Figure
4. There are three options for "Restrict Editing", namely: formatting restrictions, editing restrictions and starting forced protection. You can select all three, or you can select only one of them.
5. If you select all three, first set the "Formatting Restrictions", click "Restrict formatting to selected styles" to check it. If you only want to restrict some formatting, you can click "Set "Open the "Format Setting Restrictions" window, as shown in the figure
