IM 153-2 HF supports up to 12 distributed signal modules (all S7-300 signal modules can be used), and the size of the output/output buffer is 244 bytes respectively. The IM 153-2 HF also supports fail-safe systems (F-system) and redundancy systems (Redudancy).
