1. Take the excel2010 version as an example. There is a column of names in column A in the figure. First select the column of names, and then click the data option at the top of the page;
2. In the data setting interface, find the "Sort" option and click;
3. In the pop-up sorting setting box, find the "Order" on the right. Click the inverted triangle icon next to it;
4. There will be sorting options to choose from. Here, you want to make column A according to the pinyin of the first word starting with A. After sorting the order to Z, select ascending order, and then click OK below;
5. You will get the pinyin initials of the first character from A to Z. The data in column A is arranged in order.
