Installation method two: compile and install

Applicable to php5.3 or above version

centOS:

Choose the appropriate version on this website http://pecl.php.net/package/swoole. I am using 1.10.5

#wget http://pecl.php.net/get/swoole-1.10.5.tgz
#tar -zxvf swoole-1.10.5.tgz
#cd swoole-1.10.5
#phpize
#./configure
#make
#make install

Add a line to php.ini: extension=swoole. so

Restart apache,#systemctl restart httpd.service

Check whether the installation is successful through php -m or phpinfo

In ubuntu:

Error: No phpize

Solution: #sudo apt-get install php5.6-dev //Mine is php5.6

Restart apache, #/etc/init.d/apache2 restart
