How to install dedecms
In this example we assume that the website domain name is www.abc.com, and the program installation in the website root directory.
1, download the latest version of dedecms program, official download address.
2. Open the compressed package and upload all files and folders in the upload directory to the root directory of the space.
3. Visit http://www.abc.com/install/index.php, check "I have read and agree to this agreement" and press the "Continue" button to enter the next step.
4. In the "Detection Environment" step, make sure that the status of "System Environment Requirements" and "Directory Permission Detection" must be [√], and press the "Continue" button to enter the next step.
5. In the "Installation Parameters" step, choose whether to install the Q&A module, circle module and library module according to your own needs.
Next, fill in the database information in "Database Settings" in order. If the database and space are on the same server, fill in "database host" with localhost. If they are not on the same server For each server, fill in the IP of the server where the database is located; "Database prefix" generally does not need to be modified, the default is dede_, and "Database encoding" generally selects the default "GBK". If each information is filled in correctly, it will prompt "Information is correct", otherwise it will prompt "Database connection failed!".
Set your administrator account and password in "Administrator Initial Password". The "Cookie Password" does not need to be modified.
Set your website name and administrator email in "Other Settings"; fill in your domain name in "Website Address", in this case http://www.abc.com; "CMS "Installation Directory" does not need to be modified if it is installed in the root directory. If it is installed in a subdirectory such as the dedecms directory, fill in /dedecms.
After filling in the above items, press the "Install" button to start the installation process. After a short wait, the entire installation process of dedecms will be completed.
After successful installation, visit the homepage through http://www.abc.com and log in to the management backend through http://www.abc.com/dede/.
