Looking back on the past
##Summary of the past year:
What have you gained in the past year?
Is it love? cause? Or have you learned a new survival skill? Please review your experience this year in your mind and summarize your gains and progress.Let me first tell you about the progress of the PHP Chinese website in 2018:
This year our website registered users reached 350,000 ( There were 100,000 registered users on the website in February this year), and our official account had 230,000 followers. This year it has provided free learning videos to more than 200,000 people, and the website’s daily video bandwidth fee has also successfully exceeded the RMB 1,000 mark. The number of teachers has also increased from 2 to 6. At the end of last month, we had no choice but to launch the "Sponsor the development of PHP Chinese website and give away VIP course service" (the minimum is more than 900, the maximum is more than 2,800) .
The teacher’s salary and the website’s server and video bandwidth require 80 (VIP3) sponsor members every month to break even. Although we have always been unable to make ends meet, we are still persisting.Looking back on myself
After talking about this, Brother Pig still throws the question to you, what have you done this year?
Some students may have signed up for our PHP online training class. Some students have successfully become qualified PHP programmers through self-study and found corresponding jobs. Of course, some students are still confused, standing still, and still confused about a certain learning issue.Let me share with you my own learning and entrepreneurial experience over the years.

5 years ago When I was 23 years old, I just founded Xiaozhu CMS. That is, in 2013, I started my sixth business in a residential building with a network cable, a laptop, a table and one person. At that time, we worked all night five days a week. WeChat marketing was very popular at that time, and customer demand increased by more than N every day. Since I did not have a team, I could only sell source code during the day and develop functions all night at night. . I persisted like this for two months. In these two months, I gained 17 pounds and was sick for several months. Fortunately, I met a friend who was in a technical group at the time (now a shareholder of Xiaozhu CMS) ), helped me get through the months of illness. He took over all customer maintenance and functional development of Xiaozhu CMS, and that was how Xiaozhu CMS came into being. In 2015, the monthly sales of Xiaozhu CMS exceeded 10 million. Before the age of 18
My thoughts
I have said so much, not for anything else, but I hope to give you some guidance and guide you to understand the importance of career choice and persistence in learning. Everything has a process, and if you do something well, you will always gain something.
Instead of wasting time, your memories in 5 or 10 years will be more exciting and more flavorful, instead of not being able to find anything that you are proud of when you look back.
In the past 10 years, Brother Zhu has also changed from an 18-year-old boy to a 28-year-old uncle. I believe that as long as you give up or waste time in the middle, you will not have the life you have now at any stage in your life.
Regarding programming learning, as a person who has learned programming, I will give some simple answers to the questions raised by students in the PHP Chinese website learning exchange group
Can I find a job after learning PHP?
This question seems to be the most popular discussion in the group. I want to tell everyone, when you mention this question, why don't you ask yourself.
How am I studying? What can I develop?
If you go to work, can you complete the tasks assigned by your superiors?
If you can't, don't think about work. Sit down, study hard, and be more hands-on. If you see a website on the Internet or a project that you think is good, start developing one.
This process may take you one month or three months, but as long as you complete two to three such projects, there will be nothing you cannot do at work in the future.
Clear your learning goals, whether it is for work or for better development in the future.
If you simply want to work, you have too many choices; if you are interested in programming, please stick to it.
For me, PHP is the stepping stone for me to realize my life ideals and wealth. From the moment I came into contact with it, I had no other intention, just because of love.
What should I do if I always feel that learning programming is too difficult?
Programming is like a car. The manufacturer designs the steering wheel, gears, and brakes. We are just users. .
Learn the basic driving skills of a car and have a clear destination when you hit the road. Of course, there may be traffic lights between the starting point and the end point. At each intersection, stop when you encounter a red light. When you encounter an intersection, you need to You turn the steering wheel to change direction.
The same is true for programming, such as: data types (similar to what kind of fuel can be added to a car); process control (when to turn, when to stop), etc.
are all defined by the people who created this language. If we can learn these and finally put them together, we can achieve what we want.
When each of us learns to drive, reversing into the parking lot may be the most fearful and difficult thing to learn, but you will find that you can easily park the car to the parking position after parking into the parking lot a few times.
The same is true for programming. As long as you practice more, you will be an experienced driver after you become familiar with it.
I always know it at a glance, but what should I do if I make a mistake the first time I do it?
Programming learning itself is not that complicated. If you can figure it out at a glance, it at least proves that you can learn it 100%, but learning it and being able to do it are two different things.
Regarding making mistakes, there is no doubt that if someone guides you, you will learn very quickly. If there is no one to guide you, it will not hinder your learning.
We often see employers’ recruitment requirements stating that they require 1 or 3 years of work experience.
In fact, when measuring a programmer's work experience, the most important point is his response speed to error troubleshooting, and the other point is how many lines of code he has written.
If you expect to become an experienced driver by watching the video once, it is impossible.
Therefore, it is normal and very good to encounter various errors when writing code. These errors are your experience.
Salute to the future
2018 is about to pass, and China’s Internet will usher in more opportunities in 2019. Please work hard! Plan ahead in 2019, master a survival technique, learn a learning method, and pay tribute to your better self! The sea and the sky are vast!
