The 2017 user survey report released by Go shows that more and more developers are beginning to apply the Go language to their work and express their love for it.
Unlike in 2016, when it was only used to write CLI tools, the main use of Go in 2017 is to write API/RPC services.
Both applications leverage Go’s distinctive features and are key elements of cloud computing, according to the company. It is expected that as more companies adopt Go, the use of the language will continue to grow.
