1. Check the jdk version in the system

3. Uninstall openjdk

5. Set environment variables

[root@localhost software]# vim /etc/profile

export JAVA_HOME=/usr/lib/jvm/jdk1.8.0_131  
export JRE_HOME=${JAVA_HOME}/jre  
export CLASSPATH=.:${JAVA_HOME}/lib:${JRE_HOME}/lib  
export  PATH=${JAVA_HOME}/bin:$PATH

6. Execute profile File

[root@localhost software]# source /etc/profile

7. Check the newly installed jdk

[root@localhost software]# java -version
