Netscape 6 supports XML.
To view the XML source file in Netscape 6, you can right-click on the page and select "View Source File".

IE 5.0 supports the XML 1.0 standard.
Internet Explorer 5.0 supports the XML1.0 standard and the international standard of XML DOM (Document Object Model). These standards are published by W3C (World Wide Web Consortium).

Full support for the W3C DTD standard
Embed XML in the form of data islands in HTML pages
Bind XML data to HTML On elements
Use XSL program to convert and display XML documents
Use CSS to display XML documents
Support XML DOM
Internet Explorer 5.0 also supports XML Behaviors (XML Behaviors):
Behaviors are unique to Microsoft Technology
The behavior can separate the program script from the HTML page
The behavior can be seen and the data is stored on the client's hard disk
