This article mainly introduces the socket communication example (TCP) in python3.5. The editor thinks it is quite good. Now I will share it with you and give it as a reference. Let’s follow the editor and take a look.

TCP connection:

tcp is a connection-oriented protocol, which means that before the client and server can send data, they need to shake hands to create a TCP connection. . One end of the TCP connection is connected to the client socket, and the other end is connected to the server socket. When creating this TCP connection, we need to associate the client's socket address (IP address and port number) with the server's. Using the created TCP connection, when one side wants to send data to the other side, it only needs to throw the data to the TCP connection through its socket without attaching the destination address again.

Client-server program using TCP connection:

python3.5 implementation of socket communication example (TCP)

##TCPServer.py

import socket

import socketserver

import time

import threading

serverPort = 50007

serverSocket =socket.socket(socket.AF_INET,socket.SOCK_STREAM)

serverSocket.bind (('',serverPort))

serverSocket.listen(1)

print('The server is ready to receive')

while 1:

  connectionSocket,addr = serverSocket.accept()

  sentence = connectionSocket.recv(1024)

  capitalizedSentence = sentence.upper()

  connectionSocket.send(capitalizedSentence)

  connectionSocket.close()

TCPClient.py

from socket import *

serverName = '127.0.0.1'

serverPort = 50007

clientSocket =socket(AF_INET,SOCK_STREAM)

clientSocket.connect((serverName,serverPort))

sentence = input('Input lowercase sentence:')

clientSocket.send(sentence.encode())

modifiedSentence = clientSocket.recv(1024)

print('From Server:',modifiedSentence.decode())

clientSocket.close()

##Note: 1. Before the client can use a TCP socket to send data to the server, a TCP connection must be created between the client and the server;

2. clientSocket.connect((serverName,serverPort)): Execute Three-way handshake to create a TCP connection;

3. clientSocket.close(): Close the TCP connection between the client and the server;

4. connectionSocket.close(): Send to the client After completion, close the connection socket

TCP connection requires two sockets, UDP only needs one,

TCP server supports n parallel connections, each connection comes from a different client, TCP The connection requires n+1 sockets.
