I would like to share with you the big homework of object-oriented analysis and design and provide some ideas. Because it is a course design, there is no need to make it as detailed as the existing e-commerce website. Just focus on the core functions for design analysis. You can start from the following three major modules for detailed division:

User module

The user module includes user registration and login, user identity (if there are buyers and sellers, they must be distinguished), user level, harvest address, purchase record, etc. More specifically, you can view it in your own Taobao user center Look, add essential modules to your requirements specification.

Product module

The product module includes product storage, product placement and removal, product classification design, menu design, shopping cart module, etc. If you can open a store like Taobao, you have to consider different sellers when designing. This is It will be more complicated, so I won’t go into details. You can refer to Taobao to learn the corresponding functions yourself.

Order module

The order module includes order creation, order storage, docking payment system, order payment, etc.

In fact, in addition to these three modules, there are also various functions such as message notifications and inter-module communication. You can write documents according to the actual situation. If you want to implement it, it is recommended that you don’t write too fancy, otherwise it will not be implemented. (Talk from my original experience, haha~~)

As written above, but different e-commerce companies have different needs. If you want to write in detail, it will probably take a long time to write. But I can give you some suggestions:

  1. Plan the overall structure (eg: for example, many e-commerce headers and footers are the same on many pages and can be written once and introduced multiple times)

  2. Good coding style will save you a lot of effort

  3. Divided into modules (complete design documents)
