Let’s make a brief summary of the recent PHP learning
Book: "PHP and MySQL Web Development"
Environment/Tools: wamp/Editplus&Chrome
Time: August 2nd - August 7th
Content:
I have learned the first 3 chapters before. The first 3 chapters are mainly about basic syntax and logical control statements, file access and processing, and arrays.
Chapter 4 Strings and Regular Expressions: Various functions for processing characters, basics and applications of regular expressions.
Chapter 5 Code reuse and function coding: require and include functions, PHP function structure and usage, recursion.
Chapter 6 Object-oriented PHP: Object-oriented concepts and syntax, how to use private and public to control access, and how to implement inheritance.
Chapter 7 Error and Exception Handling: The concept and control structure of exception handling, Exception class.
These 7 chapters are the basis of PHP (including object-oriented programming syntax), and they will be written below.
Chapter 8 Designing Web Database: In fact, it mainly introduces the concept of relational database (data logical structure is a two-dimensional table).
Chapter 9 Creating a Web Database: In fact, it mainly introduces how to log in to MySQL, how to create MySQL users and set permissions, how to create database tables and data type settings.
Chapter 10 Using MySQL database: use of inert, select, update, alter table, delete, and drop statements (I think this is the key content of MySQL, especially the select statement, but unfortunately I don’t pay attention to it).
Chapter 11 Using PHP to access the database from the Web: How to use PHP to establish a connection to the MySQL database (interfaces and methods for PHP to interact with the database).
Chapter 12 MySQL Advanced Management: Take a brief look at it, mainly talking about operation permissions and MySQL security. (Can’t quite understand...)
Chapter 13 MySQL Advanced Programming: Storage Engine, Transactions, Foreign Keys and Stored Procedures. (I can’t quite understand it either...)
Chapter 14 Operating an e-commerce website: Why build a website, risks and threats faced by the website. (Just learn about it)
Chapter 15 E-commerce security issues: main security threats, authentication principles, encryption technology foundation, digital certificates, etc. (Just understand it)
Chapter 16 Security of Web Applications (I haven’t finished reading it yet, but after reading this, I feel that the writing is a bit verbose...)
To summarize: Chapters 1 to 7 It is the basis of PHP. Chapters 8 to 11 are the basis for MySQL and PHP to access the database. Chapters 12 and 13 are a bit difficult for MySQL advanced management and programming (you can take a quick look at it for personal opinion). Chapter 14 to 15 are briefly looked at. That’s it.
Because I have always been interested in programming technology and thought it would be cool to make a website, so I kept learning. I have learned Java and C before, and I have also learned some Servlets and JSP in Web programming, but I have always learned it intermittently and have no practical experience.
In this book, I plan to read the first 18 chapters (the first half) and then stop for a while. The second half of the book is mainly about the advanced technical introduction and application of PHP. First, learn HTML, CSS and JavaScript (I have never paid much attention to it before), then combine the knowledge of the first 18 chapters to make a small website to practice, and then write a summary.
Today, my network is down. I wrote this using EditPlus. I will post it on my blog when the network is repaired.
August 2nd to August 7th at 20:28 pm.

PS: There was a problem when using basic authentication with .htaccess file in Chapter 17. I searched on Baidu, but still don’t know how to start.
500Internal Server Error
The encountered server an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@localhost and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
The above introduces the PHP learning summary (1), including aspects of the content. I hope it will be helpful to friends who are interested in PHP tutorials.

PHP remains a powerful and widely used tool in modern programming, especially in the field of web development. 1) PHP is easy to use and seamlessly integrated with databases, and is the first choice for many developers. 2) It supports dynamic content generation and object-oriented programming, suitable for quickly creating and maintaining websites. 3) PHP's performance can be improved by caching and optimizing database queries, and its extensive community and rich ecosystem make it still important in today's technology stack.

In PHP, weak references are implemented through the WeakReference class and will not prevent the garbage collector from reclaiming objects. Weak references are suitable for scenarios such as caching systems and event listeners. It should be noted that it cannot guarantee the survival of objects and that garbage collection may be delayed.

The \_\_invoke method allows objects to be called like functions. 1. Define the \_\_invoke method so that the object can be called. 2. When using the $obj(...) syntax, PHP will execute the \_\_invoke method. 3. Suitable for scenarios such as logging and calculator, improving code flexibility and readability.

Fibers was introduced in PHP8.1, improving concurrent processing capabilities. 1) Fibers is a lightweight concurrency model similar to coroutines. 2) They allow developers to manually control the execution flow of tasks and are suitable for handling I/O-intensive tasks. 3) Using Fibers can write more efficient and responsive code.

The PHP community provides rich resources and support to help developers grow. 1) Resources include official documentation, tutorials, blogs and open source projects such as Laravel and Symfony. 2) Support can be obtained through StackOverflow, Reddit and Slack channels. 3) Development trends can be learned by following RFC. 4) Integration into the community can be achieved through active participation, contribution to code and learning sharing.

PHP and Python each have their own advantages, and the choice should be based on project requirements. 1.PHP is suitable for web development, with simple syntax and high execution efficiency. 2. Python is suitable for data science and machine learning, with concise syntax and rich libraries.

PHP is not dying, but constantly adapting and evolving. 1) PHP has undergone multiple version iterations since 1994 to adapt to new technology trends. 2) It is currently widely used in e-commerce, content management systems and other fields. 3) PHP8 introduces JIT compiler and other functions to improve performance and modernization. 4) Use OPcache and follow PSR-12 standards to optimize performance and code quality.

The future of PHP will be achieved by adapting to new technology trends and introducing innovative features: 1) Adapting to cloud computing, containerization and microservice architectures, supporting Docker and Kubernetes; 2) introducing JIT compilers and enumeration types to improve performance and data processing efficiency; 3) Continuously optimize performance and promote best practices.
