Here I would like to share with you my experience in setting up a personal website. Please correct me if there is anything inappropriate!
1 Editing and debugging environment
Win98 local editing and debugging, do you feel comfortable? First download Omnihttpd Proffesinal V2.06, and after installing it, PHP4beta3 can be used. If you know HTML better, I recommend using EditPlus, it’s pretty good! Otherwise, you have to use DreamWeaver first. Do you need to connect to the database? Fortunately, MySQL also has a version For WIN32.
Second, let’s get a counter first
Your own counter is always better than the one from outside, so take care of yourself! The counter source code introduced nowadays is always long after refreshing, which is a bit self-deceiving, haha. But let’s analyze how it works first. Here is an example of a simple counter:
{ $fp=fopen($ countfile,"r+");
$count=fgets($fp,5); $count+=1; rewind($fp);
fputs($fp,$count,5);
fclose($fp);
}
else
{
$fp=fopen($countfile,"w");
$count="1";
fputs($fp,$count,5);
fclose($fp);
};
?>
This counter has a nickname, it grows with one swipe^_^. So, how can we make the counter more realistic? PHP4 brings us a simple method, which is to use SESSION (session) level variables. As soon as you enter the page, first check whether the COUNT in the SESSION exists and is equal to the value you want. If it is not equal, set it equal first, and then call the counting process. After the session ends, you can say to COUNT: ByeBye!
But what if it’s not PHP4? I wonder if you still remember cookies? We can assume that none of the requests someone makes to your web page within 15 minutes (or other time periods) are new ones. In this way, you can make a counting process and store it in INC. For each page reference, the visitor When entering for the first time, the access time is sent to the cookie. The last access time value of the cookie is checked every time the page is visited in the future. Compare it and count if the difference is greater than fifteen minutes, otherwise refresh the time. (You don’t even know how to use cookies, do you? Haha, I recommend a book "PHP Core Programming", Tsinghua edition, it is enough to check the functions, each function has usage examples:-D)
However, just now The counter is not beautiful at all. You must be dissatisfied. Please change it to a graphic one. Make a set of 0.jpg, 1.jpg...9.jpg. Didn’t you just read a string? First check the string length, enter the length you expect (such as 5) minus the string length (after removing the spaces) zeros, then cut off the numbers one by one from the beginning (actually still characters), combine with ".jpg" and output, graphic Wouldn’t the counter just come out?
Okay, a counter for personal use is already perfect.
to be continued...
The above has introduced the first series of lectures on setting up a PHP personal website, including the content of setting up. I hope it will be helpful to friends who are interested in PHP tutorials.
