  2. tar zxvf memcache-2.2.5.tgz
  3. cd memcache-2.2.5/
  4. /usr/local/www/php/bin/phpize
  5. ./configure –with-php-config=/usr/local /www/php/bin/php-config
  6. make
  7. make install

Note: You can specify the path to the php-config file after ./configure.

Compilation is complete, then add the extension value to the php.ini file: extension = “memcache.so”
