Introduction to PhpMyAdmin
PhpMyAdmin is written in PHP and can control and operate MySQL through the Internet. Through phpMyAdmin, you can completely operate the database, such as creating, copying/deleting data, etc.
Installation
Step 1: Download phpmyadmin
Go to Sky Software Station to download phpmyadmin, address: http://tele.skycn.com/index.html, search The latest updated version of phpmyadmin will appear in phpmyadmin. It is recommended to use the multi-language version so that simplified Chinese characters can appear.
Step 2: Configure phpmyadmin locally
Unzip the downloaded phpmyadmin, rename the unzipped folder to phpmyadmin, and then navigate to /phpmyadmin/libraries of this folder config.default.php under /phpmyadmin and rename it to config.inc.php
Open config.inc.php with notepad, edit--find...
Find $ cfg['PmaAbsoluteUri'] = '';
Change it to
$cfg['PmaAbsoluteUri'] = 'http://localhost/phpmyadmin';
[That is the IP of your website service Or domain name plus the folder name of your phpmyadmin]
Find $cfg['Servers'][$i]['auth_type'] = 'config';
Change config to http, that is
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['auth_type'] = 'http';
[After changing to http, a login dialog box will appear like logging in to the router]
Save and exit.
Step 3: Upload phpmyadmin
After the local configuration is completed, upload the binary to the web folder httproot on your server or virtual server. The root folder of some servers is called htdocs.
Use the browser to enter the address, for example: http://www.jb51.net/phpmyadmin, and a dialog box for entering the user name and password will pop up, as shown below:
Then We fill in the account and password provided by the server provider with read and write permissions, and you can enter your phpmyadmin page. If the interface that appears is not in Chinese and a multi-language version is installed, you can select Simplified Chinese in the position shown on the right
At this point, the entire phpmyadmin installation is complete.
Tips
Are you smart enough to find anything wrong with it? If everyone does what I do, then... is the location of everyone's phpMyAdmin at http://website/phpMyAdmin? This situation can be changed...just rename the phpMyAmin folder. If I want to change the name to pma (take one word each to make it easier to remember), the path is:/usr/local/apache/htdocs/pma, so others will not be able to figure out the location of phpMyAdmin...only you can know it. ...
