This article discusses the configuration of the PHP environment in IIS 7 on Windows Server 2008 system. Once you master this simple method, you will no longer need apache. It turns out that IIS 7 is so good!
Without further ado, let’s get straight to the point.
1. Preparation
1. Software required:
MySQL database: This article uses MySQL-essential-5.0.45-win32.msi
PHP: This article uses php-5.2.4-Win32.zip
ZendOptimizer: This article uses ZendOptimizer-3.3.0-Windows-i386.exe
Search and download the above software online and place it in the same directory, such as: webtools (the same examples below)
2. Install IIS 7. The brief steps are as follows:
(1) In the Control Panel, select Programs - Turn Windows features on and off;
(2) Select Internet Information Service in the pop-up Windows function;
(3) Expand - World Wide Web Service - Application Development Function, select ISAPI extension (important);
(4) Automatically install after confirmation;
(5) Enter http://127.0.0.1 (your IP address) in the IE address bar, and you will see the IIS7 welcome interface (Figure 1)
2. PHP environment deployment strategy
1. MySQL database deployment
(1) Install MySQL database
Enter the X:Webtools directory and click MySQL-essential-5.0.45-win32.msi to start the installation, as shown in Figure 2:
