According to PHP official news, the PHP source code has been migrated from Subversion to Git, and the source code is also hosted on GitHub, which means that the maintenance of the PHP source code will be easier, and it will also facilitate external contributors to create patches and merge code. .

Now PHP users can clone or fork the source code from the GitHub mirror, in addition , and also supports contributors to make pull requests (apply for code merging) through GitHub.

Future PHP versions will be signed by the development team, who will also release GPG keys for verification in the next few days.

Currently, the PHP manual (including translated versions) is still hosted on Subversion and will be migrated to Git in the future.
