Date and time processing technology
PHP’s concept of time
unix timestamp
Date and time processing
1. PHP time concept
In the PHP language, date and time functions depend on the regional settings of the server. PHP is set to standard Greenwich Time by default, which is the zero time zone. Therefore, to obtain the local current time, you must change the time zone setting in the php language. There are two ways to change it. One is to set it in the php.ini file and to set it through the date_default_timezone_set function.
Set the time zone in the php.ini file, date.timezone=xxx
The date_default_timezone_set() function sets the time zone. Use this function before the date and time functions. If the server uses the zero time zone, the php.ini file cannot be modified directly, and the time zone can only be set through the date_default_timezone_Set() function.
2. Timestamp
1. Get the timestamp of any date and time
The mktime() function converts a time to a unix timestamp. The mktime() function returns a unix timestamp according to the given parameters. The parameters can be omitted from right to left. Any omitted parameters will be set to the local date and the current value of the time (that is, without setting any parameters, the mktime() function obtains is the current local date and time). mktime (hour, minute, second, month, day, year, daylight saving time or not)
mktime() gets the timestamp of the current time without setting any parameters.
2. Get the current timestamp. PHP also provides a function to get the timestamp of the current time, the time() function.
3. Convert date and time to unix timestamp
The strtotime() function parses any date description in English text into a unix timestamp.
3. Date and time processing
The processing of date and time can be divided into formatting date and time, obtaining date and time information, obtaining localized date and time, checking the validity of date and time, etc.
The date() function formats local date and time,
The getdate() function returns date and time information in the form of an array. If there is no timestamp, the current time shall prevail.
Check the validity of date and time, checkdate()
