two. VB program to import the library
This project will use some object libraries. In terms of database access, we decided to use ADO (ActiveX Data Objects). For those who have used ASP, this name should be very familiar. In fact, it is in VB The applications in Excel are almost the same. Since Excel needs to be operated, an extended object library must be referenced. Click "Project" --- "Reference" in the menu, select "Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects 2.6 Library" and "Microsoft Excel 9.0 Object Library". In the reference list, the versions of the referenced object libraries may be different. Select something similar The latest version will do. To use dialog boxes and progress bars, you also need to reference some components. Click "Project" - "Components" in the menu and select "Microsoft Common Dialog Control 6.0 (SP3)" and "Microsoft Windows Common Controls 6.0 (SP3)".
The interface is shown in Figure 1
The controls represented by the numbers in the figure are:
1-3: 3 are TextBox controls, and their names are respectively mdbfilename, mdbpassword, xlsfilename, mdbfilename is used to indicate the path and file name of the imported Access file, mdbpassword is used to enter the password of the Access file, xlsfilename is used to indicate the path and file name of the imported Excel file;
4: The name is select_mdbfile , CommandButton control, used to select the Access file to be imported;
5: The name is importMDB, CommandButton control. After selecting the file, use this button to import the MDB file
6: The name is CommonDialog1, CommonDialog control
7: The name is select_xlsfile, CommandButton control, used to select the Excel file to be imported;
8: The name is importXLS, CommandButton control. After selecting the file, use this button to import the XLS file;
9: The name is CommonDialog2 , CommonDialog control
10: The name is prgBar1, progress bar (ProgressBar), when many records are to be imported, the progress bar can be used to indicate the current import progress
11: The name is StatusBar1, status bar (StatusBar), indicating The progress status of the import, including "Importing", "Importing completed", etc.
