First thing first, as promised, here is the entire result set for you to browse: Download. Feel free to play around with it - and if you come up with some interesting diagrams, please share them with us! Read some details on downloading files in the "Data" section below.
The most popular frameworks of 2015
Frame Winner
To view the images below or full-screen versions, just click on them. Or open them in a new tab.
As expected, Laravel is a big step up again this time.
There are some who may be worried that partial framework split versions may affect Laravel's survey results and give it an unfair advantage, but we can see that even with all other framework merge versions, Laravel wins.
The data will be presented in tabular form below, just because I don’t have time to make beautiful charts. I'll update the chart soon.

This is an interesting trend observation. Most English-speaking countries favor Laravel, while France is loyal to Symfony - their own product. Interestingly, a country that is unbelievably the second most active country for most Czechs, still under investigation! ) Favor Nette – This framework is little known in the Western world, and the favorite local framework in Ukraine – PHPixie. It gets even more interesting when you look at the top five countries – not just the winners – leaving it up to you to discover! Framework grouped by age
Finally, if we look at the top 5 frames by age group, we get this:

Laravel again leads all frameworks, followed closely by Symfony, except in the case of age groups - PHPixie is worth looking into. The most obvious is CodeIgniter, which still maintains a strong legacy and loyal user base.
Interestingly, Phalcon’s popularity has dropped dramatically compared to the same time last year.
Unfortunately, due to some complaints last year, we did not include gender data in this survey. This would have been an interesting vehicle.
