Home >Web Front-end >HTML Tutorial >After learning HTML and CSS, should you learn HTML5 or JavaScript first? _html/css_WEB-ITnose
I spent a week reading OREILLY’s head first HTML&CSS XHTML on and off. It is really well written and very suitable for beginners to get started. Next, I learned that there are two books in this series, one is HTML5 and one is javascript. Which one is better to read first? Has anyone read this series of books? Please give me some advice.
Just read both when you have time, and just check again when you need it!
Just read both when you have time, and just check them again when you need them!
It’s just a hobby and a supplement to my spare time in college. I want to gradually add more about the web. I also want to learn PHP or JSP in the future.
Let’s learn javascript first. HTML5 is not very popular yet and cannot be used at the moment.
With the popularity of IE11, it is estimated that HTML5 will become more and more popular!
javascript
Reading is not the same as learning. After reading the book, find more practical project operations, otherwise you will forget it in a few days
javascript, no Learning JavaScript is basically useless. You also need to write a lot of js for h5
It would be better to learn HTML5 after having the basics of js
If it’s just a hobby, I think it doesn’t matter if you read that one first , just take a look. If you want to practice it, you should do some small projects by yourself first. This way you can consolidate your knowledge easily and learn quickly. I personally recommend learning javascript
and JS first. You can look at jQuery related stuff. There are many books,
"Sharp jQuery"
"Learn jQuery in 15 Days"
You can also watch the video.
Of course, if you want to learn native JS quickly, you can read the textbooks of Beida Jade Bird.
Come on!
I am also learning about HTML. You can look at HTML5 first. This is the basics, and then learn other things.
js, you can now create web pages.
