linux下php必须编译安装吗？yum里的都版本太低呀configura的时候参数看不懂。。。
我的vps是centos 5。5 64位

的确如此,你可以安装ubuntu 64bit 这个更新源里的版本都较新，但是也不是最新的版本.
编译安装也很快，我已经用上了5.5
