Assassin's Creed Shadows Tea Bowls for Rikyu Walkthrough (Tea Bowl Locations)

Tea Bowls for Rikyu is an optional quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Tea Bowls for Rikyu mission. Completing this quest unlocks the Collector trophy & achievement for completing a Collection.

• Questboard Category: People of Yamashiro > Sen no Rikyu
• Quest Giver: Automatically starts after completing Lightning and Thunder
• Requirement: Complete the quest Lightning and Thunder.
• Recommended Level: 10
• Reward: 1000 EXP,  Collector for completing a Collection
• Quest Description: Tea Master Sen no Rikyu has asked Naoe to find him rare tea bowls worthy of a new tea house project.

Talk to Sen no Rikyu

You can track this quest from the Objectives Board. Scroll to the People of Yamashiro and select the quest underneath Sen no Rikyu.

Head to the north end of Yamashiro > Kyoto to the point on the map shown below.

A doorway leads you into an enclosure. Go in and then enter the building to your right.

Inside, you find Sen no Rikyu.

He offers a dialogue choice:

• [Bow deeply]
• [Bow halfway]
• [Bow head]

The choice doesn’t matter, but he approves when you use “Bow halfway.”

Retrieve the tea bowls – All Tea Bowl Locations

The first 6 Tea Bowls are bought from ornament vendors and cost 125 Mon each (x6 = 750 Mon total required). The 7th and final Tea Bowl is an automatic story-related reward for defeating “The Fox” Onryo/Shinbakufu member, much later in the story.

Tea Bowl #1: Rustic Tea Bowl Collection
You can buy this one from an ornament vendor located in Yamashiro > Kyoto for 125 Mon.

 

Tea Bowl #2: Intricate Tea Bowl Collection
This collection can be bought at the ornament vendor in Izumi Settsu > Sakai for 125 Mon.

 

Tea Bowl #3: Sophisticated Tea Bowl Collection
This one is located in the easternmost ornament vendor in Omi > Azuchi for 125 Mon.

Tea Bowl #4: Unique Tea Bowl Collection
Bought from the ornament vendor in Omi > Sakamoto for 125 Mon.

Tea Bowl #5: Elegant Tea Bowl Collection
This one is bought from the ornament vendor in Wakasa > Obama for 125 Mon.

Tea Bowl #6: Simple Tea Bowl Collection
Bought from ornament vendor in Tamba > Kameyama for 125 Mon.

Tea Bowl #7: Classic Tea Bowl Collection
This collection is an automatic story-related reward for beating the Onryo/Shinbakufu Member “The Wise” (after completing the quest Darkness Falls).

This finishes Tea Bowls for Rikyu in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Finishing this quest also unlocks  Collector (complete a collection), if you haven’t already obtained it from another collection questline.
