Resource Farming Guide – Revenge of the Savage Planet

Running low on Silicon or Carbon just when you're about to unlock a big upgrade? You’re not alone. Resource farming in Revenge of the Savage Planet isn’t exactly spelled out for you, but there is a reliable method that lets you restock on materials if you know the trick.

Here’s how to actually farm wildlife and plant-based resources across any of the game’s four planets, including Stellaris Prime.

Step 1: Unlock Teleporters

Before you can farm anything, you’ll need access to at least two teleporters on a planet. These are scattered across each hub world and become active once you interact with them.

The teleporters don’t just fast travel… They also trigger wildlife to respawn when you use them.

Step 2: Use Teleporting to Reset Wildlife

When you kill a creature or harvest certain plants, they disappear and do not return—unless you reset the area. To do this:

  1. Go to a teleporter you’ve unlocked

  2. Interact with it to open the world map

  3. Select another teleporter on the same planet

  4. Once you teleport, travel back to the original spot manually

When you return, wildlife and plant-based resources will have respawned. You can now kill them again to collect Carbon, Alien Goo, and sometimes Aluminum.

Step 3: What Can Be Farmed

This method only works for living creatures and some plants. That includes:

  • Creatures like Mito Slimes, Slitherflies, Raccoccos

  • Exploding plants and goo sources

  • Some plants that drop crafting items

It does not work for mineral ores like Silicon rocks or metal veins. Those do not respawn.

Final Blurb

Resource farming in Revenge of the Savage Planet requires some smarts. Use teleporters to reset wildlife, make a loop, and collect what you need. Just don’t waste your time smashing rocks that never come back. Stick to creatures and plants if you want to upgrade faster without running in circles.
