Tragic incidents, including suicides linked to AI relationships, underscore the potential dangers. Furthermore, concerns exist regarding misinformation and manipulation.

The rising number of Google searches for "Feelings for AI" and "Fell in love with AI," up 120% and 132% respectively, reflects a growing need for connection that some are attempting to fulfill through AI. This highlights the underlying issue of social isolation and the search for companionship in an increasingly digital world.
