In Oblivion Remastered, your post-prison escape leads you back to a life of crime, but selling your ill-gotten gains isn't as simple as walking into any shop. Regular merchants won't touch stolen goods, regardless of your relationship with them. So, where do you offload your loot?

Selling Stolen Goods: The Thieves Guild Route

Joining the Thieves Guild is key. After completing the initiation quest in the Imperial Waterfront (around midnight), you gain access to a network of fences across Cyrodiil. Initially, your only option is Ongar the World-Weary in Bruma. As you progress, you'll unlock access to wealthier fences with larger inventories.

If you can't find Ongar initially, he's usually at Olav's Tap and Tack, near Bruma's south gate.

Alternative (Late-Game) Options:

While the Thieves Guild provides the main avenue, a few other vendors will accept stolen items, but they're generally more accessible in the later stages of the game:

• Inn of Ill Omen Innkeeper: Located south of the Imperial City and east of Skingrad. His inventory is limited (50 gold) unless you have Master Mercantile.
• Jak Silver: Found after unlocking the Thieves Den at Dunbarrow Cove (south of Anvil) and purchasing the Supplier upgrade from Dahlia.
• Khafiz: Also located in the Dunbarrow Cove Thieves Den after purchasing the Fence upgrade from Dahlia.
