Wuthering Waves celebrates its first anniversary with the special event: Cube, Cubie, and Cubic! This event, released with version 2.3, combines engaging combat with a compelling storyline.

Generous rewards await, including Astrite (perfect for the Zani or Ciaccona banners!), Echo Modifiers, character upgrade materials, and Credits. This guide helps you swiftly complete the event and maximize your rewards.

Event Eligibility and Duration

The Cube, Cubie, and Cubic event ran from April 29th, 2025, with the deadline for claiming rewards being June 11th, 2025.

Event Guide

In this event, the Rover and their companions have transformed into cubes! Your mission: defeat the monsters in Abbowser Castle. You don't need to own these companions beforehand; cube versions are provided.

Progress through the story, battling enemies within Abbowser Castle. You begin with Shorekeeper, Jinhsi, and Changli Cubes, unlocking others as you advance.

Cube Management

Twelve Cubes represent companions from Jinzhou and Rinascita: Jinhsi, Changli, Shorekeeper, Camellya, Roccia, Brant, Carlotta, Zani, Phoebe, Cantarella, Calcharo, and Cartethiya.

Level up your Cubes using Special Cube Cookies earned through combat. Higher levels mean stronger Cubes and improved combat performance. Each Cube possesses a unique skill, customizable with Modules.

Module Usage

Modules enhance Cube abilities. Acquire them by completing combat missions or purchasing them with 1st Anniversary Coins from Abbowser's Shop (bottom right corner).

Each Cube has ten module slots, unlocking as you level up. Three module types exist:

Standard Module	Boosts basic Cube stats (Attack, Skill Efficiency, Duration).
Ability Module	Grants Cubes access to other Cubes' main skills.
Awakening Module	Fundamentally changes Cube abilities and playstyle.

Cube Combat

Cubes replace your Echo slots during combat. Select your team and equip a Cube to each character. Your Cube companions fight alongside you. During battle, transform into a selected Cube to unleash its special ability.
