In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, you'll encounter a variety of unique creatures, including the helpful White Nevrons. One such creature is a diminutive bourgeon residing in the aptly named Small Bourgeon area on the continent map.

This tiny bourgeon has a simple request: bourgeon skin. Fortunately, obtaining it is straightforward.

Locating Bourgeon Skin

Bourgeon skin is acquired by defeating a larger bourgeon. The nearest one is located in the Flying Waters region.

Travel to the Lumiere Street flag in Flying Waters (easily accessible via fast travel if you've progressed through the story).

Instead of venturing into the ruined area, head in the opposite direction towards the relatively intact buildings. Follow the stone path between them until you reach a streetlight. The bourgeon awaits beyond a gap in the seaweed near the light.

Confronting the Bourgeon

While imposing in size, the bourgeon isn't as formidable as it appears. Its attacks—limb slams, projectiles, and temporarily removing a party member—are manageable. The "eating" attack, while unavoidable, doesn't inflict damage; the swallowed party member is simply removed from combat until regurgitated.

Exploit the bourgeon's weakness: lightning. Gustave's overcharge and any lightning-based weapons will prove highly effective.

Utilizing the Bourgeon Skin

Defeating the bourgeon automatically yields its skin. Return to the Small Bourgeon area (east of Flying Waters), interact with the small bourgeon to give it the skin.

After a short wait (resting at a camp is recommended), return to witness the bourgeon's remarkable growth. Interact with it again to receive your reward.
