Need to select elements that do not contain specific classes? :not() selector can implement this function.

For example, to select a .home class that does not contain the .home class element:

What if multiple classes need to be excluded?

:not() selector itself does not support logical operators (such as and or or ), but chain selection can be performed, which is actually equivalent to and operation.

 body:not(.home):not(.away):not(.page-50) {

}

:not() selector itself does not add any weight, but its internal selector increases weight, so the weight of :not(.foo) is the same as .foo .
