While you can't personally sample the delicious fare in Assassin's Creed Shadows, your in-game characters, Naoe and Yasuke, can! They'll be able to purchase authentic regional delicacies from Food Vendors scattered throughout their journey. From the fermented soybeans (natto) of Sakai to the hearty udon noodles of Shingu, a diverse range of Japanese cuisine awaits discovery.

Food plays a significant role in Japanese culture, with "omiyage" (souvenirs) often representing local snacks given as gifts or enjoyed personally. Sadly, Tokyo Bananas weren't around in 1600!
