Elden Ring: A guide to building the ultimate intelligence flow spell (including interactive maps!)

Smart players know that in FromSoftware's game, spell flow is a fun-filled construction direction. And in Elden's Round of Magic, the best intelligence flow construction has more options than ever before, with over 70 – sometimes extremely powerful – spells for you to play.

With the right magic build, you can even rely on magic alone to easily deal with tricky bosses without feeling overly powerless. (Of course, you will still feel vulnerable, because it is always difficult to avoid this feeling in Eldon's Ring of Magic unless you have a much higher level than your enemy.) For a spell build, you need to continually invest your runes into your intellectual attributes from the very beginning. Sooner or later, you will have strong enough power to transform yourself into the moon.

In my experience, intellectual flow construction makes timely dodging and tactical strategies less critical, as I can range from weakening the boss's health. However, you still need to pay attention to your FP usage and which spells are best for the current boss, especially later in the game, where enemies like Marleneya will ruthlessly spin and wield weapons to attack you.

To help you find all the intelligence flow construction items mentioned below, we have embedded an interactive map that marks the location of all the equipment in this build.

Here are all the items you need to obtain the intellectual flow construction at the junction:

"Elden's Ring of the Ring of the Ring of the Intellectual Flow Construction: Attributes

If you want a powerful spell, you need to prioritize some attributes: intelligence, spirit and vitality, plus a little agility .

  • Intelligence is crucial for this type of mage building because your equipment and casting depend on it. Most items you build with intelligence should also improve with intelligence. Therefore, putting points into intelligence attributes is a way to maximize the utility of your spells and staff (or other weapons).
  • Spirit is crucial, just like any kind of magical construction. Since you will focus on casting spells and attacking enemies with your spells, you need enough energy to support these spells. With a large amount of FP, you can continue attacking for a longer period of time before you need to withdraw the potion.
  • Vitality is important for most builds, because the last thing you want is that the boss can easily kill you in one blow. Also, considering that stamina is not a priority attribute, you can't offset damage with heavy armor. Therefore, you need a high HP value.
  • Finally, agility is an underrated attribute for a spellman, for the simple reason: high agility can speed up your casting speed. This allows you to release spells faster in combat.
  • As for your starting career, I recommend choosing a Starsman , which will give you the best start. The initial spiritual and intellectual attributes of this profession are higher than those of other professions, so you just need to continue to invest points into these attributes and vitality.

Early game attributes - Above level 30 As a speller at the start of "Eldon Magic Ring", you need to allocate attributes balancedly, which may be more difficult. For a while, you will be able to do everything, but slightly fragile, but ultimately worth it. You need at least 18 intellect to use the Meteorite Staff, the best magic weapon in early games. Then you can start to increase your vitality, spirit and agility and add a little stamina to improve your gameplay.

  • Vitality: 18
  • Spirit: 19
  • Endurance: 12
  • Strength: 8
  • Agility: 16
  • Intellectual: 20
  • Faith: 7
  • Mystery: 9

Mid-Play Attributes - Level 80 or above As you progress as a spell, gradually improve your attributes in a relatively balanced way, keeping your vitality and spirit at a high level to obtain enough HP and FP, while not ignoring attack attributes such as agility and intelligence. If you want to use the Moon Hidden Knife as a melee weapon, you need 12 points of strength to wave it with one hand. If you don't care about melee, put these points into other attributes.

  • Vitality: 33
  • Spirit: 30
  • Endurance: 18
  • Strength: 12
  • Agility: 20
  • Intellectual: 30
  • Faith: 7
  • Mystery: 9

Late game attributes - Above level 120 When you approach the late stage of "Eldon Magic Ring", your intelligence will begin to approach the soft upper limit of 60. Make sure your intelligence reaches 52, as this is the requirement for some of the best staffs and spells in your arsenal. You only need to increase your strength to 16 to use the Dark Moon Great Sword, otherwise you can keep it at 10 points to improve the attributes of the later staff and enhance your agility and spirit.

  • Vitality: 40
  • Spirit: 30
  • Endurance: 18
  • Strength: 16
  • Agility: 27
  • Intellectual: 52
  • Faith: 7
  • Mystery: 9

"Eldon Ring of the Royal City" Attributes - Level 150 or above When you face the arduous challenge of "Eldon Ring of the Royal City" DLC, you will want your main damage attribute to reach a soft upper limit of 60. Vitality absorbs huge damage that new enemies can do in Shadow Realm, and you should now have all the agility you need to cast as quickly as possible. Again, if you want to use melee weapons outside of magic, you can even add some power, but that's not necessary. If you are tired of melee combat and want to use magic at all, you may even want to use larval teardrops to remove power!

  • Vitality: 58
  • Spirit: 35
  • Endurance: 20
  • Strength: 10
  • Agility: 30
  • Intellectual: 60
  • Faith: 7
  • Mystery: 9

Of course, if you are venturing into the NG and beyond, it is definitely worth trying to put more points into vitality and intelligence, which will allow you to use powerful boss spells that require more than 60 intelligence.

Of course, you don't have to follow these attributes completely. However, for most high-end staff and heavy-hit spells (such as Moon Spell, Comet Yazur, and Kariya's Scepter), you need 60 points of intelligence. However, there are also viable builds with weaker spells, so feel free to use larval teardrops and find the one that works best for you.

You may not want to upgrade to level 180 by swiping runes, as players at levels 120-150 can also complete the final game; in any case, we recommend prioritizing intelligence, spirit and vitality.

It should be reiterated that you never need to add extra power points; I have some extra points in each attribute so I can use one of the best weapons in Eldon's Magic Ring - the Moon Hidden Sword. This knife is not the main weapon of this build, but I found it a great weapon when I was tired of constantly casting. I will introduce this in more detail below and I will recommend which weapons to equip.
