Forbidden Passage

Start at the Great Temple Underground Ruins, taking the elevator to the Forbidden Passage Blade Nexus. Consider plague-resistant armor.

Behind the statue, find an Unstable Soul Tearstone and an illusory wall leading to a chest containing a Temple Knight's Spear, Ring, Necklace of Gratitude, and Transmutation Mists. A Yoma Jester and Shamens guard this area.

To the left of the statue, find a Plague Cleanse Potion. Further down, a Yoma Pursuer and Shamen await. A ladder leads to a narrow passage with an arrow trap near the ladder (use the metal casket for cover).

Ahead, two Shamens precede a hidden arena with an Elite Renowned Swordsman's Shadow. The arena contains a Special Cleanse Potion and a Ghost Spearhead. Beware the plague effect from blood puddles.

First Soulstone

Beyond the gate, an illusory wall hides the first Soulstone. Two Yoma Pursuers guard a path leading to stairs and another illusory wall with an arrow trap. A chest at the end contains a Ghost Relic and Great General's armor set.

Jarling Location

Two frenzied Yoma Pursuers guard a room containing a Large Spirit Ore and the Jarling. A ladder leads back to the Swordsman's Shadow arena. Another path leads to a large room with Undead enemies.

Defeat Undead enemies, including an Ice Archer, Shieldbearers, Swordsmen, and Vagrants. Collect Netherworld Energy, Lightning Enhancers, Concentrated Poison Essence, and an Unstable Soul Tearstone. A hallway leads to a room with a Summoner and Shieldbearers, beyond which lies a hidden document ("Hismar Conquest 3") and an elevator.

Bind to the Ruins Bridge Blade Nexus. A cavern contains numerous Yoma Pursuers (including frenzied ones) and a Crypt Devourer.

Clear the cavern, then find Transmutation Shards, a hidden document ("Hismar Conquest 4"), a chest with loot, Vitality Spheres, Willpower Orbs, Spirit Ores, and another Crypt Devourer.

Second Soulstone

An Unstable Soul Tearstone precedes a Servant of Chaos golem. The second Soulstone is behind a statue. Beyond lies the Hidden Chamber Blade Nexus and the final boss: The Specter of Pleuvious.

The Specter of Pleuvious

The Specter of Pleuvious is a challenging boss with enhanced abilities and spirit summons. Use Hallucination Cleanse Potions and exploit his vulnerability during spirit summoning.

Defeat him to obtain the Hastily-Written Note and gear. Reese's Ring is found in the chapel, concluding the mission.
