Core Keeper's expansive underground world is brimming with items: weapons, armor, blocks, crops, seeds, materials, bugs, fish, furniture, and more! Keeping your inventory organized can be a challenge, even with numerous chests. Pouches offer a convenient solution by adding extra inventory slots.

Pouches are essential for efficient inventory management. Let's explore how they work.

What are Pouches?

Pouches add extra inventory slots, each dedicated to a specific item category: Fish (gray slots), Seeds & Plants (green), Valuables (magenta), and Blocks & Ores (brown). They're "quick-stashed" like armor, adding 5, 8, or 10 slots depending on the pouch tier. You can equip multiple pouches of the same type, up to a maximum of four pouches simultaneously. Items matching a pouch's category automatically fill the pouch slots first.

Crafting Pouches

Low and mid-tier pouches require a Pouch Workbench, purchased for 100 Ancient Coins from the Bearded Merchant after defeating Glurch. House the merchant by placing his furniture in a suitable room (4x4 tiles, 1 bed). Recipes for Small and Medium Pouches are unlocked upon workbench acquisition.
