Mumbai Indians skipper Hardik Pandya confirmed that veteran Rohit Sharma will not be playing in this fixture of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.

After winning the toss and electing to bowl first, Hardik cited that Rohit is injured as he was hit on the knee. It may have happened during the practice sessions ahead of the game. However, no official news of the same was released ahead of the match.

He said, “Rohit was hit on the knee. We will open with Will Jacks and Ryan Rickelton.”
