In this life simulation game inZOI, your Zoi character can earn money to support yourself (or buy delicious donuts and coffee) through various careers. But not everyone wants to go straight into a 9-to-5 job after high school, and unless you want to simulate a gap year, college is often the bridge between the two.

Is inZOI's current university system a bit simple? Of course, it’s important to remember that while The Sims have launched college life as a paid expansion pack for three consecutive generations, inZOI has included the college system since day one of the Early Access Edition. How to enroll in inZOI

To apply for a job or school, you first need to open Zoi's smartphone, which is represented by the pink flip phone icon next to the Zoi avatar in the UI at the bottom of the screen. (Click the icon or press the P key on the keyboard).

The phone will appear on the right side of the screen in the form of a new UI popup, in a style similar to the home screen of the smartphone, showing various applications. Select the icon marked with the school in the lower left corner (there is a graduation cap on the icon) to start applying to college.

inZOI actually has four stages of education; but primary, junior and high schools are quite easy to understand and are only open to Zoi of the corresponding age group. If you create Zoi that is youth or older, they already have a high school diploma in the "Education" category of Zoi card when they start the game.

Only young people can apply to go to college. If enrolled young people will graduate automatically if they grow older to adulthood.

The university you can apply to for depends on the city you choose for them to live in. Zoi in Dowon can apply for Youngsung schools, while Zoi in Bliss Bay can apply for Bliss Bay public schools. (However, when applying for a faculty position, these institutions are called Youngsung University and Bliss Bay University, respectively, so as the game continues to have early access, the name of the student aspect may be changed to match it.)

Either way, your Zoi has three majors to choose from: Business Administration , Computer Science , or Multimedia Arts . You only need to select one and click the corresponding application button to enter the school. As with job application, your Zoi will be accepted immediately by the university, and if you decide to change your major, you can just reapply using the same process and this will take effect immediately. But please note that changing majors or re-entering after leaving will reset Zoi's academic progress.

Please note that if your Zoi has any jobs – both full-time and part-time – applying to college will automatically cancel their current jobs and there will be no warning pop-up when applying for a new job, which allows you to cancel your application. Vice versa, applying for a job while still a student will automatically drop Zoi out of school, but you will receive a pop-up notification before that.

What happens to inZOI college life?

At the time of writing, it is not clear what the benefits of going to college in inZOI are as far as your Zoi can find a better job or get a higher salary with a diploma. However, as mentioned above, the Zoi card does contain a section that contains information about each Zoi education level, so it may be heading in a certain direction.

In fact, inZOI's college is three days a week, and functions more or less like an unpaid "rabbit hole" profession. Zoi can perform tasks outside of core time to improve their performance, which is very similar to normal jobs.

After six days of college (about two game weeks), student Zoi will receive a text message confirming their graduation . This will also happen if Zoi is adult from a youth during college entrance.

If you want your Zoi to drop out early, you can select the dropout option (blue button with white cross) from the My Info tab of the School app on your phone. This is basically the same as your Zoi leaving to work and will immediately drop them out; similarly, while you can reverse this decision at any time by reapplying for admission (in their previous major or other major), their academic progress will be reset.
