How to Start the City Saviors Mission

This mission becomes available from Carl after completing Chapter 3 of the main story. Find Carl in the Administrative District's upper level, near Armory Alley. He'll task you with eliminating a group of Suids near the city gates, residing in a nearby cave.

The seemingly simple task presents a moral quandary: the Suids are revealed to be young, raising questions about the necessity of their extermination.

To Kill or Not to Kill?

Upon discovering the Suids are young, you can contact Carl, who initiates a philosophical discussion on the morality of the situation. The choice is yours: spare the Suids, or eliminate them.

Regardless of your decision, the reward remains the same: 7,000 Credits, 130 EXP, and a Forerunner's Uniform. However, the consequences differ significantly. Killing the Suids permanently concludes the quest.

Choosing compassion, however, leads to a later event. In Chapter Seven, "A Painful Lesson" unfolds, where adult Suids attack the city, resulting in Carl's death. This quest rewards 13,000 Credits and 230 EXP.

Importantly, "A Painful Lesson" doesn't affect Segment Recon or Survey Rate, allowing players to make their choice freely.
