Thanks to Netlify for sponsorship! Netlify is an excellent static website (or non-completely static website!) hosting platform, known for its fast speed, good developer experience, reasonable price, and rich features. I've been thinking of Netlify several times in the last week, either because they released some cool new features or because others are writing about it.

Tapas Adhikary wrote "How to Debug Netlify serverless lambda Functions with VS Code". Netlify Functions is great, but it does require a local development environment. Don't forget that Netlify Dev (CLI...netlify dev) can run the entire Netlify platform, including functions.
Speaking of Netlify Functions, they just simplified its configuration to zero configuration.
Nishant Choudhary wrote CircleCI and GitLab: Choosing the Right CI/CD Tools. This article explores these two tools in depth, but also makes me think that Netlify itself is a CI/CD platform. They run your build process (and if successful, deploy it). It's not just that you can use it to make the build process do more—they encourage it by providing build plugins. You can use existing plugins or write your own.
As Brian Rinaldi stated in Jamstack Thinking, building a Jamstack website (the only option on Netlify!) requires a specific way of thinking.
One of the reasons Next.js is that it can pre-built your content page, but also leave a portion of it for server-side rendering if needed. How does this work on Netlify? Of course it is through building plugins.
