If you were hoping BLEACH Rebirth of Souls would let you relive every arc from Ichigo’s humble beginnings all the way through the Thousand-Year Blood War, well… let’s dial those expectations down. The game’s story mode stops way before that, unfortunately.

Confirmed: BLEACH Rebirth of Souls only covers the story from the Agent of the Shinigami Arc (aka Substitute Soul Reaper Arc) to the end of the Arrancar Arc. That’s it. No Fullbring Arc, no Lost Shinigami Arc, and definitely no Thousand-Year Blood War—unless you’re ready to pay for it.
These arcs? Not in the game at all. No mention, no side episodes, nothing. If you’re a fan of those storylines, you’ll have to settle for rereading the manga or rewatching the anime while the game pretends they don’t exist.
BLEACH Rebirth of Souls does have Thousand-Year Blood War content, but it’s part of the Season Pass. Four characters from TYBW are coming as DLC. It’s unclear if story content is included or if you’re just getting new fighters—but either way, bring your wallet.
To make up for skipping over half the anime, BLEACH Rebirth of Souls throws in a few extras:
Secret Story Mode: Focuses on the main characters.
Side Episodes: Small stories about daily life stuff, probably no saving the world here.
BLEACH Rebirth of Souls is basically "BLEACH: The Early Years." You get Ichigo’s first meeting with Rukia, the Soul Society showdown, and the Arrancar Arc finale. After that? It’s DLC city. If you were hoping for the full Bleach saga in one go, this ain’t it. Maybe we’ll get a sequel. Or maybe just a lot more DLC.
