Moon Market might just be the weirdest and most fun side story in Split Fiction. It’s packed with magical nonsense, Easter Eggs, and yes—achievements. Here's a simple walkthrough so you don’t miss anything while chasing ghost cats through a glowing marketplace.
How to Get to Moon Market
Head toward the big castle with a crescent moon above it.
A ghostly rowboat will appear. Ride it. Try not to fall in.
On arrival, find the yellow ghost cat in the alley. Follow it to the giant cat gate—it’ll unlock the door for you.
The Goal
You’ll now see three ghost cats run off:
Pink cat to the west
Green cat to the northeast
Blue cat to the southeast
You need to catch all three and bring them back to the cat gate. But first, some fun.
Side Activities (And Trophies)
While you're in Moon Market, you can:
Ride a giant snail
Steal a balloon from a mole
Turn into a blueberry (basically)
Trophy – Chair The Load
Grab a magic wand from the western alley.
Use it on your partner to turn them into stuff.
When they turn into a chair, sit on them. Trophy unlocked.
Trophy – Potion Chef
Go to the potion shop east of the fountain.
Mix random ingredients and drink potions.
After 4–5 wild transformations, you get the trophy.
Cat 1 – Pink Cat (West Side)
Follow the pink cat to a small shack.
Light two lanterns to open the door.
Cat runs to a creepy red mansion that grows legs (normal).
Grapple onto flying moles to reach the mansion.
Climb up, light two more lanterns, follow floating platforms.
Find the cat in a treasure chest, ride floating books back.
Deposit the cat into the gate.
Cat 2 – Blue Cat (Southeast)
Pick up blue and yellow lanterns from carved pumpkins.
Use them to reveal ghostly coffins—jump across.
Find a giant sleeping cat guarding the blue ghost cat.
Mio plays a harp to keep the big cat asleep.
Zoe crosses blue flowers to grab the cat.
Head back and return the cat to the gate.
Cat 3 – Green Cat (Northeast)
Follow it to a Hobbit-style door.
Use witch hats to grow flowers that match the door’s cat pattern.
Enter and find the cat trapped under a giant mushroom.
One player lifts the mushroom, the other grabs the cat.
Create optional flower art if you’re feeling artsy (no trophy).
Use bubbles to jump back to Moon Market.
Deposit the final cat.
Final Blurb
With all cats returned, the gate opens. Head through, watch a cozy pillow fort cutscene, and you’re back to the main story. Moon Market is done. Mischief managed.
