In Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & The Envisioned Land, relics are more than just sellable trinkets; they're key historical artifacts crucial to the Research Team's mission on the Aladiss Continent. The game emphasizes their importance.

These ancient artifacts are prime exploration targets, appearing in various forms throughout the regions. Fortunately, finding additional relics isn't difficult.

Locating Relics

Relics are found within the game's named Ruins, indicated on the map by an icon with a white checkmark. The checkmark turns pink upon discovering all treasure chests within a Ruin. Finding relics isn't required to clear the checkmark, but they're always present in these Ruins.

They appear as piles of debris. However, you can only collect them after using Flammi's Long-Range scan within the Ruin to locate a specific device. This scan reveals all chests and marks each relic with a '!' on the map.

Each region contains two relic types, randomly spawning within its Ruins. Both types can appear in the same Ruin. Higher-level regions yield more valuable relics. Certain skills enhance relic rarity, similar to other collectibles and ingredients.

After collecting all relics from a Ruin, they respawn after a few in-game days. Simply return and perform another full scan to find them again.

Utilizing Relics

Relics serve as synthesis ingredients, often superior in quality to regularly found items, particularly before significant skill tree upgrades. They're ideal for crucial recipes.

They're also required for specific non-story quests. Each new region features an NPC offering a Relic Collector quest series, demanding a region-specific relic. Four such quests exist, rewarding completion with minor prizes after sufficient regional progress.

Completing Pioneering Effort tasks also requires relics. Each region demands at least one after reaching a certain point. This is easily achieved given the Ruin exploration involved.

Finally, completing enough Pioneering Effort unlocks merchant trades using relics. Their rarity and quality make them valuable trade goods, although not all merchants accept them.

mPDF is a PHP library that can generate PDF files from UTF-8 encoded HTML. The original author, Ian Back, wrote mPDF to output PDF files "on the fly" from his website and handle different languages. It is slower than original scripts like HTML2FPDF and produces larger files when using Unicode fonts, but supports CSS styles etc. and has a lot of enhancements. Supports almost all languages, including RTL (Arabic and Hebrew) and CJK (Chinese, Japanese and Korean). Supports nested block-level elements (such as P, DIV),
