Avowed's Paradis: A Comprehensive Chest Hunting Guide

While Avowed's open world might not be the largest, its density is undeniable. This guide focuses on locating every chest within Paradis, a crucial early-game area. Chest locations are marked on accompanying maps.

This guide covers Paradis in two sections: Northern Paradis (Hightown) and Southern Paradis (including Shantytown). Dawnshore chests will be detailed in a separate guide.

Northern Paradis (Hightown) Chests:

1	Watcher's Residence: Enter, go through the left window, and down the alley.
2	Rooftop: Leap onto the brown roof right of the arch to the Watcher's Residence, then move up and right.
3	Rooftop (East): Climb the building east of #2, then the next roof east, finally to the northeast rooftop.
4	Claviger Eamund's Estate (Southwest): Past the fence, left of the gate, past some boxes.
5	Claviger Eamund's Estate (Fenced Area): Past the guards, in the fenced area.
6	Claviger Eamund's Estate (Kitchen): Past boxes in the kitchen, below stairs.
7	Claviger Eamund's Estate (3rd Floor): Third floor, in a dark room corner.
8	Claviger Eamund's Estate (Exterior): Behind and outside the estate, between greenery and a stone wall.
9	Claviger Eamund's Estate (Water): Beside the fence, drop into the water and climb the rocks.
10	Rooftop (Statue): Across the chasm, on a rooftop by a statue.
11	Ground (Destructible Wall): Beside the building from #10, by a destructible wall and boxes.
12	Scaffolding (North): Underneath scaffolding on the north side, behind destructible boxes.
13	Militia Headquarters Rooftop: Climb scaffolding from #12, across the rooftop to a fenced area.
14	Gods' Gate Alley: Parkour to the first-floor roof of the alley, onto the balcony.
15	Aedyran Headquarters Rooftop: Parkour from the building south of the Aedyran Headquarters.
16	Balcony (Lantern): From #15, down to a balcony with a lantern.
17	Bridge Edge: Jump from the balcony to a statue at the bridge's edge.
18	Hightown (Central): In Hightown's central area, by a pillar under an overhang.
19	Shrine to Woedica (Rooftop): Climb the stone throne, to the rooftop with red fencing.
20	Alley Balcony (Hightown): From #19, leap to a balcony above the alley.
21	Hightown Pavilion: From #19 (north end), leap to the arch, then to the rooftop pavilion.
22	Sanza's Emporium Alley: West of Sanza's Emporium, find a switch in a bookcase to open a false wall.
23	Sanza's Emporium Alley (Wooden Obstacle): Small chest on the wooden obstacle in the alley.

Southern Paradis (including Shantytown) Chests:

1	Waterway (Scaffolding): Underneath the north section, parkour across scaffoldings to a backpack.
2	Market District: Northwest section, behind a counter on a crate.
3	Balcony (Easel): East across the grass, leap onto a balcony with an easel.
4	Balcony Room: Locked chest in the room connected to #3.
5	Higher Balcony: Leap to a higher balcony east of #3, then parkour to another overlooking the Market District.
6	Apothecary Shop (Hidden Area): Break a destructible wood wall northeast of the Apothecary Shop.
7	Apothecary Shop (Pavilion): Crawl through the window right of the barricaded door, into the pavilion area.
8	Northeast Alley: Walk by a Sparrowhawk Guard in front of a northeast alley.
9	Art Studio: Right of the alley, in a small art studio with a statue, turn right for a locked chest.
10	Mermaid's Den (Wheelbarrow): Right of the Mermaid's Den entrance, a locked lockbox on a wheelbarrow.
11	Mermaid's Den (Curtained Room): Inside the curtained room with pink petals.
12	Military Barracks (Backpack): North of the Military Barracks entrance, by a knocked-down fence and tree.
13	Pearl District Building (Southeast): Around the southeast edge of the largest building in the Pearl District.
14	Pearl District Pavilion: West side of the same building, in a pavilion area with a fire.
15	Underbelly (Red Cloth): In the Underbelly, in a sleeping area marked by a red cloth.
16	Grinning Balarok (Upper Exterior): Tucked between walls on the upper exterior of the Grinning Balarok.
17	Grinning Balarok (Destructible Wall): Behind the Grinning Balarok, behind a destructible stone wall.
18	Grinning Balarok (Upper Level): Parkour to the upper level from behind the Grinning Balarok.
19	Shantytown Waterway: Underwater, beneath the wooden scaffolding between Paradis and Shantytown.
20	Wooden Overhang: On a wooden overhang above the water, at the turn between south and east.
21	Shantytown Waterway (Scaffolding): In the water, toward the scaffolding north of the backpack.
22	Liviana's Clinic (Fountain): By a dry fountain outside Liviana's Clinic, on a barrel left of a staircase.
23	Embassy (Spider Area): Parkour over scaffolding, break a barricade, then wrap around to a small room.
24	Embassy Rooftop: Parkour across scaffolding and rooftop, onto a ladder, then to the embassy rooftop.
25	Main Gate (Wooden Barrier): East of the main gate, through a destructible wooden barrier.
26	Shantytown (Northwest Corner): Parkour to the northwest corner of Shantytown.
27	Shantytown (Second Floor Balcony): Second-floor balcony of the same building, in a room next to a dagger.
28	Shantytown Waterway: In the shallow water between walkways, beside a sunken boat.
29	Shantytown (Second Floor Balcony): Second floor of the first building on the right in Shantytown, leap from the east building.
30	Shantytown (Southmost Building): Southmost building, through two doors, to a balcony.
31	Shantytown (Upper Balcony): Parkour across the street to an upper balcony above #30.
32	Shantytown Shack: Inside a shack on the south side.
33	Shantytown Underwalk: Underneath the walkway in front of the shack.
34	Shantytown (Northeast Building): Northeast building, climb stairs, jump to a south balcony, then through a destructible wall.
