Bellatores Quest Guide and Walkthrough KCD2

"Bellatores" side quest "Bellatores": Knights, Raiders and a rescue operation, may be smooth or extremely bad. This brief guide will guide you through each step and avoid getting lost in the forest again.

Task Overview

  • Starting location: Kutenberg Region>Birani
  • Mission Provider: Jan Posy of Zimburg
  • Prerequisite: Complete the main task 14: The Devil's endorsement
  • Reward: 500 Groshen (Great Reward)
  • Task Type: Side Task
  • Mission Line: Bellatores → Skeletons in the closet
  • Target: Rescue Miroslav and avoid being stabbed.

Step 1: Accept the task

Talk to Jan Posey in Birani. He needs your help to rescue his friend Miroslav from the Kumen. If you promise, you must follow him immediately. If you hesitate, the mission will fail. Yang has no time to wait for you to organize your backpack.

Step 2: Go to the battlefield

Summon your horse and ride it. If you feel lazy, just hold down the follow button and your horse will help you with the job. Chatting with Young along the way – comforting each other after trauma is a knight tradition.

Step 3: Deal with the raiders (diplomacy or violence?)

Upon arrival, you will find that the raiders are "recycling" some battlefield equipment. Yang wanted to kill them. You have three ways to deal with:

  1. Persuad him (the easiest way to use your language like a clever knight.)
  2. Intimidate him (make him regret his choice.)
  3. Agree to fight (take the move first, then ask questions.)

If your skill check fails, Young will do what he is best at - pulling out his sword and starting a fight.

Step 4: Optional - Pick up a halberd

Yang suggests you get a halberd from the carriage. This is optional, but if you want to try waving a huge tree trunk, go for it. Otherwise, continue to use your usual weapons.

Step 5: Find the priest (not on the road of course)

The priest is not where you think you are. He was not on the road, but sat by a tree by the river. (Typical NPC behavior – hiding in the most inconspicuous place.)

Step 6: Tell Yang what you find

After checking the priest's body, go back to Young to tell him the news. Try not to appear too panic.

Step 7: Track the Kumans with Young

Young enters the forest (because the Knight never takes the easy path). Follow him. Along the way, he stopped to talk to a woman who said the Kumen were hiding in nearby ruins.

Step 8: Plan the attack (or pretend to plan)

Young wants a plan. you can:

  1. Sneak in alone. (Best option – quieter and fewer corpses that need to be avoided.)
  2. Wait until evening. (Sneaky, very clever.)
  3. Rush in like a madman. (Yan likes this option, but your armor may not be able to stand it.)

Step 9: Rescue Miroslav (Preferably not to die)

If you sneak in at night, the four Kumans will fall asleep and the guards will be more likely to break one by one. If you are discovered, then... I wish you good luck in swordsmanship.

Find Miroslav in the underground part of the ruins. Untie his rope and prepare for the next step.

Step 10: Conquer Zimbabwe (Why not?)

If the sneak failure or you choose a full-scale offensive mode, it's time to clean up the camp. Kill everyone, loot everything, and enjoy the chaos.

Step 11: Task completion

After Miroslav is rescued, Young will give you the 500 Groshen you deserve and tell you how many days to come again. for what? Who knows. But you may not have gotten rid of this mess.

This is the "Bellatores" mission—some heroism, some sword-wielding battles, and a reminder: stealth is always an option.
